We created mepcobill.pk because checking an electricity bill shouldn't require navigating a complex government portal.
In 2023, our team — a small group of developers from Multan — noticed something frustrating: millions of MEPCO consumers across South Punjab were struggling to check their electricity bills online. The official MEPCO website was difficult to navigate on mobile, and many consumers didn't even know they could check bills digitally at all.
Every month, people were paying unnecessary late fees because they didn't receive their paper bill on time, or couldn't figure out how to look it up online. Others were paying incorrect amounts without knowing how to dispute them. This felt like an avoidable problem.
We built mepcobill.pk to fix that. A single, clean interface where any MEPCO consumer in any of the 13 districts — whether they're in Multan or Rajanpur, Sahiwal or DG Khan — can check their bill in under 5 seconds, understand what they're being charged for, and know exactly when to pay.
